Dr. Hauda is the Medical Director of the Inova Ewing Forensic Assessment and Consultation Team Department (FACT Department) of Inova Health System.  The department sees over 1000 patients each year who are the alleged victims of crimes.  The department sees patients from Fairfax, Loudoun, Arlington, Prince William counties and the cities of Alexandria and Falls Church.  Dr. Hauda is board certified in emergency medicine, pediatric emergency medicine, and forensic medicine. He is an associate professor of medical education for the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He has presented at local, national and international conferences and regularly testifies in court regarding injuries seen after violence.
