DANIEL E FELTEN, MD, MPH
Dr. Felten is the Medical Director of the Children’s Health Center at Shepherd Park, one the Goldberg Center primary care clinics at Children’s National Medical Center. He has been at Children’s National since 2012. Prior to moving the CNMC, He completed residency, was chief resident, and was a general pediatric attending at Rush University Medical center from 2004-2012. He completed my MD and MPH at Northwestern University Medical school between 2000 and 2004. His main interests have been quality improvement, resident teaching, and caring for Children with Medical Complexity. He has led and participated in many different quality improvement projects and helped design and implement a longitudinal quality improvement experience for the residents of Children’s National. He was an investigator in a multicenter, randomized-control, NIH-sponsored trial “Tympanostomy Tubes or Medical Management for Recurrent Acute Otitis Media” and has helped recruit subjects from the primary care site for many other research projects conducted at Children’s National Hospital. He was one of the Complex Care Program providers for many years and continues to care for many Children with Medical Complexity. He is dedicated to providing quality, equitable, and comprehensive care to all children.
