Professional Title: Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellow, Research Instructor 

As a pediatric hospital medicine fellow with a passion for medical education, I have continually sought out opportunities to serve in the physician-educator role while also learning the principles of educational scholarship. Through both the medical educational pathway offered in residency and my time as a chief resident, I developed several curricula aimed at supporting residents in the teaching role that remain in place to this day. Following residency, I served as site director for the newborn nursery as part of the 3^rd year medical student pediatric clerkship and was instrumental in substantially raising the student experience score. Since starting fellowship, I have become involved in the Association of Pediatric Program Directors (APPD) Confronting Racism Action Team, taking specific interest in UIM (underrepresented in medicine) resident remediation/dismissal, resulting in collaboration on a national workshop presented at last year’s Spring conference. I have also joined the APPD Longitudinal Educational Software Solutions and Outcomes Network (LESSON) as a committee member who will be reviewing curricular proposals and overseeing development of online curricular instruments.
